1989 Lancia Prisma Symbol

There were only 5 taxed Prismas in the UK last quarter. There are very few rarer mass production cars.

Car has great Powerflow stainless steel exhaust. I’ve got two sets of keys. It is the top model with skirting, Alcantara trim and (still fast) electric windows all round. 1.6 twin cam engine loves to rev and provides over 100HP, which is plenty for a car that weighs under a tonne! Wonderful retro interior is really functional and tactile.

Work carried out since May 2010
• New rear brake calliper last week
• Hand brake cables
• Front strut top mounting replaced
• 2 rear wheel bearings
• 4 Hankook 175/60/14 tyres
• HT leads, dist cap and rotor arm replaced
• Full service including all filters and plugs
• Gearbox oil changed with 75/90 semi-synthetic
• Thermostat changed
• Idle valve/ oil breather system stripped/cleaned

It has driven 13,000 miles since May 2010 and has proven to be fit for daily driving. Doesn’t use water or oil. I’ll be including a new genuine boxed front grille as a spare. Has genuine front mats put in recently. The nearside rear and front arches have some rust showing through. Has wiring and 4 speakers for audio, but no radio fitted.
