Trimming and all aspects of the restoration of the interior of the car is also part of Omicrons repertoire. A local trimmer who meets Aston Martin standards makes carpets, makes and fits headlinings, makes new convertible tops, tonneau covers and reupholsters door and trim panels and seats in cloth or fabric, vinyls or leather.
During this process we will often prepare and repair seat frames and hood rails as well as organising the rechroming, restoration, refurbishement, repair and repainting of other interior components, such as switches, steering wheels, other brightwork, instruments, radios, catches and so on.
Sometimes the existing leather is too good to retrim, but is tired looking or dirty. We have access to various leather treatments and cleaners which can transform tired but otherwise sound leather into something much more attractive.
